How can I check the status of my order placed online?
When placing your order, your email address is automatically entered in the system and a notification will be sent to you once your order has shipped. Whether your order was placed online or by phone, you can check its shipping status by calling customer service 1-855-477-9296 and providing your order number and providing your last name and zip code.
How is my order packed?
Orders are packed in styrofoam coolers with dry ice. It is very important to not touch the dry ice directly, it is caustic and any contact with the skin can cause serious burn to the skin.
How long can my purchase be kept frozen?
Products are generally good for 3 to 6 months if they are kept wrapped in an air tight bag and placed inside a freezer. The products must remain at a freezing temperature at all time. Once thawed, please follow instructions on the printed label.
How do I dispose of dry ice?
We recommend placing the Styrofoam cooler outside or in a well-ventilated container to let the dry ice evaporate.
Can I purchase or redeem a Gift Card online?
Gift cards can be purchased and redeemed online. To redeem your Gift Card online, simply enter the number in the Gift Card box at checkout. You can also check your balance online. Additionally, Gift Cards will ship free of charge when Standard is selected, however there is an upcharge for 2-day and Rush deliveries.
Is there an expiration date for a Gift Card?
Your E-Gift Card has to be redeemed within one year of purchase. The Gift Card will be emailed to you and can be forwarded to your recipient and all Big Easy Foods vouchers can be redeemed right here at bigeasyfoods.com
Vouchers expire one year after purchase date. Your voucher is transferable. It can be used by anyone who presents the code on the voucher. You cannot combine multiple vouchers when making a purchase. This voucher is the equivalent of a banknote. Do not lose it, as it cannot be replaced. The use of this voucher is subject to the terms and conditions published in the online shop listed on the voucher.
Are your products shipped Frozen?
Yes, almost all of our products are shipped frozen. Dry ice may evaporate prior to arrival at your door. This is perfectly normal, as long as the product is cool to the touch simply store in the freezer.
What type of shrimp do you use?
There are five species of Gulf Shrimp, brown, white , pink, royal red and rock. All our shrimp are Individually Quick-Frozen, which means the product was frozen in a matter of minutes or hours, not days.
What do I do if I doubt the freshness of the shrimp that I bought?
Our ultimate goal is safety and freshness for all the frozen shrimp that we sell online and at retail. To help us find an explanation to the problem, please take a photo of the UPC, lot number and sell by date. Then send us an email with the picture attached at email@example.com. Once we receive your email, a customer service representative will contact you and assist you in issuing a refund, or the replacement of your product.
